Track Day Prep: Getting Your Supercar Ready

Buying the car is the easy part. Showing up to your first track day prepared is where most owners get caught out.

A few things we walk every buyer through before their first session:

  • Tire pressures, cold and hot. Street pressures are wrong for track work — know your target hot pressures before you’re already two sessions in.
  • Brake fluid age. Track temperatures boil street-spec fluid fast. If it’s been more than a year, flush it first.
  • Fluid levels, not just oil. Coolant and brake fluid take a beating under sustained load — check them cold, the morning of.
  • A pre-track inspection. Lug torque, brake pad wear, fluid leaks — the same 20-minute checklist our shop runs before delivery.

None of this is complicated, but skipping it is how a great car day turns into a tow-truck call. Bring your car by before your next event and we’ll run through it with you at no charge.
