Behind the Inspection: What We Check Before Any Car Hits the Floor

Every car we list goes through the same process before it’s offered for sale — no exceptions, regardless of how clean it looks on arrival.

Mechanical. A full inspection covering the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and any known problem areas for that specific model. If a car needs work to be sale-ready, it gets the work before it gets a listing.

Cosmetic. Paint depth readings on every panel to catch prior bodywork that doesn’t show up in photos, plus a full detail so you’re seeing the car as it actually is, not as a wash can make it look.

Paperwork. Title check, service records, and a search for any accident or salvage history. If something doesn’t check out, the car doesn’t get listed — simple as that.

Test drive. Our own inspector drives every car before it goes live, not just the seller’s word on how it runs.

It’s slower than just posting photos and a price. It’s also why buyers come back to us instead of rolling the dice on a private sale.
